Senators

The Senators are a group of 55+ men and women who meet two or three times a week to curl in a mixed format. Fun and fellowship, and of course exercise are the general goals.

On Tuesday afternoon and again Thursday morning a tag format is used to determine teams for the day. For the more competitive in the group, Monday mornings are designated for those who are interested in being a member of a team for league action.

As well, Senators offer a series of mini spiels with other club, called Friendlies. Although these spiels are more competitive than our daily tag curling, the emphasis is still on fellowship and fun.

Moreover, Senators may participate in any club spiel. Other opportunities to curl for Senators men are the Toronto District League which is a competitive league with other curling clubs in Toronto and, for the 70+, the Thornhill Invitational League.
