Day Ladies
We have lots of excitement during the day at the Richmond Hill Curling Club with
over 70 members curling 3 days a week plus bonspiels and playoffs.
On Mondays, we have "Skip Entry Teams" that compete together for the whole season. Some teams change personnel at the end of the year but others have been together for many seasons. There are currently 17 teams with 12 curling Monday afternoons at 1:00, 4 curling on Monday mornings on an alternating basis plus one team on a bye. We play for the trophy sponsored by Faye Weiss.
On Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons we have "Draw Curling". Teams are drawn for a 7 week schedule which changes 3 times during the year. There are lots of opportunities to play with or against many different curlers throughout the year. Playoffs determine the winning team for each schedule, which are named for their trophy – Gatehouse and Merry Maid.
New members are most welcome and will enjoy the atmosphere of friendly competition and relaxed social interaction.
